lash + brow
lashes, brows, permanent makeup
Powder brows can be done with a machine or hand tool in order to create an ombre look instead of individual hair strokes. We recommend powdered brows for individuals with oily skin, mature skin, and those wanting a soft makeup look. The soft makeup look means that the tails of the brows are darker and fade to a lighter shade at the start of the brows, giving them a subtle look. The ideal candidates for powdered brows are those who have hair, but fill in with makeup. If you have thinner brows, we can add in hair strokes after for additional texture. Powdered brows traditionally last for 2-4 years while microblading usually lasts 2-3 years.
Eyelash Extensions are individual strands of synthetic fibers made to replicate a natural eyelash. When applied, eyelash extensions lengthen and thicken your own natural eyelashes. The single strands are applied to each individual eyelash, one by one. With proper application, lash extensions look and feel completely natural.
When applied by one of our Four Eleven professionals, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your own eyelashes. Depending on your activity and day-to-day routine, refills should only be required every 2-4 weeks
Based on the growth cycle of eyelashes, when applying lashes, lash artists are trained to look for adult lashes to attach the individual synthetic lashes. Young (baby) lashes are left to allow them to fully develop and when it comes time for a lash fill, we will have new, strong lashes to bond to. Lash extensions will not cause your natural lashes to fall out. Remember that your natural lashes have their own life cycle of falling and growing -- like the hair found elsewhere on your body. It's hard to notice small lashes falling out, but when attached to a thicker, longer lash they become much more noticeable! Once the extensions are removed, your own eyes may appear smaller, your natural lashes, shorter and sparser because you've been accustomed to a full set of longer, thicker lashes.
Prior to your appointment, try your best to arrive without any eye-makeup. Do not curl your lashes or wear mascara the day before and the day of your appointment. It will help minimize the cleanup time and leave more time for lashing!
The application process for lash extensions normally takes about 90-120 minutes for a full set of lashes and 45-60 minutes for a refill. You will lay comfortably on a massage table with your eyes closed while relaxing ambient music is played in the background. During application, your lower lashes will be covered and the extensions will be applied only to your upper lashes one at a time.
We do offer a service to have the extensions removed involving a short thirty-minute appointment in which we apply a gel remover. The gel remover is applied on top of the extensions without touching the skin and allowed to sit for 10 minutes. Once the adhesive is dissolved the extensions are gently wiped away with lint free applicators exposing the natural lashes.
It's a lifting technique designed to give you longer-looking lashes without the need for lash extensions. It will look as if you used a really good eyelash curler, only this lift lasts for 6 to 8 weeks! To top off the treatment, we'll apply a black lash tint which really makes your lashes look more prominent. The procedure takes about 45 to 60 mins to complete. It really is an easy way to instantly brighten and open up the eye area!
PLEASE ARRIVE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT COMPLETELY FREE OF EYE MAKE UP! Also, you must stop usage of waterproof mascara at least 2 days prior to your Lift! If you wear contacts, they must be removed.
Lash extensions and lash lifts are 2 totally different animals. I will not be adding any additional lashes to you. I will simply be curling your natural lashes. That said, for most, it can make your lashes appear fuller because they are so uplifted.
Pretty simple: Don't get your lashes wet or apply anything at all to them for 24 hours. Steer clear of waterproof mascara the entire life of your Lift. Brush out the lashes daily.
None at all! You don't have to do anything special with your lashes in between lifts other than giving them a good brush out daily and stay away from waterproof mascara.
Of course, as long as it is not water-proof! You'll just achieve a more dramatic effect when mascara is applied to your curled lashes.
No, if you follow all the advice on pre-prep and post care. The lifting solutions are only applied to the new growth area of the lashes, down towards the base and up a bit. Never to the ends of the lashes.
No. At first, when we're applying the shields to the eyelids, it may feel a bit strange. But, for the most part, it's very relaxing! You just kick back and relax!
Depending on the length and quality of your natural lashes, the lift can last for 6 to 8 weeks.
During the microblading process, hand-drawn hair strokes are meticulously applied into the epidermal layer of the the skin using a hand tool and pigment. For microblading, the hand tool is dipped into pigment and then delicately applied to the skin as individual hair strokes. Microblading mimics realistic hair-like strokes, which are designed to flow like a natural eyebrow. The microblading look works great for clients who want to fill in gaps int he brow line or create brows where hair has been lost.
For clients with oily skin, microblading strokes may fade faster, need more touch ups or expand a little.
For clients wanting both the look of microblading hair strokes and shaded, powdered brows, we are happy to offer a combination brow to achieve the look you've been dreaming of. For combination brows, we use some strokes to create a natural hair look and then add in soft shading through the rest of the brow. Strokes are usually drawn around the edges where they will be the most visible and then powdered shading is added to the body of the brow to give it a full look that retains a beautiful shape every day.
Lip Blush Tattoo it’s either a great alternative to fillers or surgery or it can be done in conjunction with these procedures. Many of our clients do both to maximize the effectiveness of lip enhancement treatments.
Whether it is the lip design, shape or color you are interested in, at Four Eleven we can help. The lip enhancement includes a soft blending into the lips so there is no line of demarcation. It will enhance the fullness of the lips. This is done in two sessions.
Of all permanent makeup procedures, the permanent lip enhancement procedure is the most sensitive. However we do numb your lips prior to and throughout the procedure with a highly effective topical anesthetic for your comfort.
Pre-Care instructions are designed and MUST BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessive bleeding and sensitivity during the procedure will dilute and expel the pigment color and lead to poor results.
* Having this service performed during your menstrual cycle may increase discomfort during your procedure.
* If you are a frequent smoker or "sun worshipper" the topical anesthetics used during the treatment may not last as long and also can lead to poor retention and poor lasting results.
You MUST understand that if you have EVER had chicken pox, a fever blister, or a cold sore, you MUST take Zovirax, Famvir or Valtrex or other anti-viral pre and post procedure to help prevent the outbreak of cold sores. There are NO exceptions to this rule! If you do have an outbreak, it will usually occur on the third (3rd) day following lip color application. This rule holds true for each and every time you have any amount of permanent lip tinting applied.
You will need to call your physician in order to obtain your prescription strength anti-viral medication. You must inform them of your decision to have your lips permanently tinted and they will need to call your prescription in for you to pick up at your pharmacy.
Your lips will look slightly larger than normal and look as though you may have had a slight lip filler injection. The degree of this varies from person to person. For most clients, the swelling happens in a few hours. However, the lip color will look quite dark, like lipstick. You need to know that the size of your lips will shrink back to normal and the color will significantly fade up to 50% within the first 4 days. You will lose color on the inside of your lips first, the edges last. Right after the procedure lips normally feel dry, chapped, tight and tender to the touch. Lips will feel better with each day
Expect moderate swelling, usually one to three days following the procedure. Scabs will make the lips feel thick. Lips will fade up to 50% after the first 5 days. While healing, the tattoo will look spotty. This is due to oxidation of the pigment and the redness of the skin. Two or three permanent makeup applications may be required to achieve the desired results. An enhancement or touch up session visit approximately 8-12 weeks after your first initial appointment is necessary in order to achieve that richness of color, achieve symmetry, and density in the shape.
Color can last up to 3 years. Please note that final results cannot be guaranteed as each unique skin type will hold pigments differently and break down at different rates. We will re-evaluate how your skin has received the pigment at your enhancement session and make any changes. LIPS WILL NOT BE COMPLETED AFTER JUST ONE SERVICE. At least two appointments are needed initially. Each of these appointments being 8-12 weeks apart. At the second visit we will assess the color retention and make any adjustments necessary. Everyone heals differently and at different rates. If your cosmetic tattoo does not heal perfectly the first time, do not worry! We can always go bolder at your next appointment.
Bleeding during the procedure: Excessive bleeding during the tattooing procedure will reduce the amount of pigment absorption. Caffeine, alcohol, certain food or drink, and medications act as blood-thinners and should avoided 48 hours prior to your appointment. For a full list of what to avoid 48 hours to your appointment click here.
Sun exposure: The sun will extremely soften the look of your tattoo, and may also change the color appearance of the pigment.
Lifestyle: smokers, "sun worshippers", or anyone with skin that is in a state of distress may have less desirable results.
It is highly recommended that you avoid SUN and TANNING BED exposure for 30 days BEFORE and AFTER your procedure. If you show up for your appointment with a new tan or a sunburn, you will need to reschedule and will forfeit your deposit. As your skin exfoliates from a sunburn, it will take the pigment with it.
